Consulting company j.d. power and Associates polled owner 31,000 2009 model year vehicles and the value of the brand with the number of owners having problems in the last 12 months. The problem can range from stalling the engine and transmission problems to peel the paint and electronic glitches.
Lexus owners report problems 86 per 100 vehicles. Porsche, Cadillac, Toyota and Scion round five. The worst offender was the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Jaguar. Chrysler owners report problems 192 per 100 vehicles.
The industry average is a matter of 132 per 100 vehicles, improvement of 13 percent from last year and the highest level since the survey began in 1990. The results are very surprising because the industry is in turmoil in 2009. General Motors Co. and Chrysler Group, LLC bankruptcy that year, and the U.S. car sales dropped to the low 30-year because of the recession.
