BOCA RATON, Florida – ULM could not have scripted the season finale of much different that what happened to the grass FAU Stadium Saturday night. Warhawks dominated owls from start to finish on both sides of the football 26-0 victory in what the endgame for Florida Atlantic coach Howard Schnellenberger.
Florida Atlantic defense ULM was held to only 148 yards offense in the game, while the Warhawks blistered owls for 424 yards. ULM rushing for 52 yards on 231 carries and working efficient passing game for 193 yards on 17 completions. Warhawks counted 20 first downs in the game to set a record for single season of a new school with 263 (12 more than the previous mark).
